Phew, I hope Part 1 provided you all with the information that you needed regarding this items. In case you haven’t read that one yet just head here to get the down low on them. About a week after receiving these items I decide it was time to try them out. I’m no makeup artist or pro but I definitely had a blast exploring these beauty products. I used 6 out of the 10 products received, my whole face is done up with Pixi products. The only thing that I used that wasn’t Pixi was my concealer and foundation.
I used the Strobe & Bronze, Strobe & Sculpt, Get The Look- ItsLipTime, Get The Look- ItsEyeTime, Glow-y Powder London Lustre and Rome Rose, and Eye Accents.I took some pictures that you can see below, let me just say I’m not a selfie type person so doing this was super weird.
I noticed in my middle picture that it looks like I did some contouring but I actually did not as I’m horrible at it. I’m going to assume that it’s just the lighting and the way I took the picture, I have not edited any of the photos and they are of real me without any filters or anything.
Like I’ve mentioned I’m not a makeup artist or a pro, but I do love to just improve my skills and try new things. One of the items that I was super excited to try was the Eye Accents Brow Tamer, it’s a clear brow fixing gel. Yes, guys, it’s a gel for your brows. I’ll be the first to admit that my eyebrows are never on “fleek” but I do like them. They tend to be wild sometimes so the Brow Tamer is a game changer for those of us who don’t do much with them. I don’t use lipsticks to often but I did try some shades from the Get The Look- ItsLipTime pallet.
For the pictures, I have on Sweet Cherry but after my little photo session, I tried Ta-Da and Peaches. Those two colors are more in a neutral to brown shade, I really liked them. Overall I really enjoyed trying out these new items from Pixi by Petra. They were very light and felt like I wasn’t wearing any makeup. It was very easy to remove the makeup once I was finished. You guys can head over here to check out all these new items!
