My first thought when I saw Clue Master was “No way! It looks just like that game Lilly is always playing on her tablet”, that game I’m referring to is MineCraft and Crafting game. I knew within a second of looking at the box that Lilly would be all about this game and that Lucas would want to play too. You see, Lucas has watched Lilly play her game a lot in turn he ended up loving it and tries to play on his tablet. When the game arrived at our house, I had to hide it until I felt it was the perfect time to be super awesome Mom and bust it out. Okay well maybe I hid it to use as a bartering chip when the kids wouldn’t stop fighting, I mean it is summer which means non-stop arguing for Lucas and Lilly. All I can say is it was well worth it and paid off, the kids quit arguing and actually got along…it was quiet in the house and I loved every second of it. The only noise I heard were inside voices and giggles, now if only every day could be like that.

Even though this is a single-player game both of my little humans enjoyed playing. Lucas got a thrill out of watching his sister play and he even tried helping her too. I’m always a big fan of any game that teaches a child all while the kid thinks it’s just a fun game. Clue Master from Thinkfun is the perfect game for summer and will be a hit this holiday season as well.
