About 6 or so months ago I was on Facebook and saw a video that one of my friend shared, everyone shares videos on Facebook so it’s nothing new. The video that my friend shared was of two guys playing from Crocodile game but it was weird because the teeth were little metal triangles. Initially I was thinking to myself “What is this, what…is…this” so I watched it, my curiosity always gets the best of me. As I’m watching, these guys are pushing the metal teeth down one by one and taking turns. Firstly, how are they doing that because the points of these triangles look extremely sharp so it has to be hurting their fingers just a tad. Secondly, what happens when the mouth shuts?! After that thought I decided to end watching the video because I just couldn’t bare to see what may happen when that mouth shuts. Fast forward to last month when I’m looking around the Winning Moves website and I come across Crocodile Dentist, this was the game that these two men altered to become what I call Crocodile Finger Eater. Now the correct version Crocodile Dentist is the most adorable looking thing you will ever see and in no way with it hurt you.
Seriously, how cute is that little croc?! This game is great for ages 4+, requires 1-4 players and comes with 1 plastic crocodile. The objective of this game is super easy, the croc has a tooth that’s bothering him, pretend to be a dentist and help him out. Press the wrong too and he’ll surprise you. All you do is take turns pressing 1 tooth down at a time until you push the wrong one and the crocodile closes his mouth. Even though this game is recommended for ages 4+ I can say that a child younger would enjoy it, but I do suggest playing around with it first in front of the child because it may scare him/her. I know that if I had gotten this when Lucas was 1 r 2 he would’ve been all over it wanting to play. If you have a fearless child like Lucas then I’m confident your kid would just adore this game, if you don’t I would wait a little to the recommended age to allow them to play it.
This is another game that would have been great on out long car ride, there’s no small parts to lose and it doesn’t take a whole lot to play. Some may consider this a child’s game, I call this an everyone game because parents/adults it will scare the crap outta you when his mouth springs shut. We love Crocodile Dentist, is simple yet extremely fun. The anticipation is really what makes this game a ball to play! Also it’s really hilarious watching the kids play, they laugh, they scream, they jump back and it’s extremely funny to Mom.
